ICT-AAC Pisalica: A Fun and Educational App for Learning Correct Writing
ICT-AAC Pisalica is an Android application developed by ICT-AAC that helps children learn the correct way of writing large and small prints (graphs) that are not sufficiently represented in available applications. This app is designed to aid preschool and school-aged children in mastering the correct orientation of writing letters and writing rules for each letter at the beginning of their education.
The app provides a modern and fun way for children to overcome the challenges of writing. On the home screen of the application, children can choose whether to write large or small prints. The app then displays an overview of all the large or small Croatian alphabetic letters followed by the current curriculum from the Croatian language. By selecting a single letter, an overview is opened, where the letter is displayed in full-screen. Each letter shows arrows to indicate the correct direction of writing. By dragging their finger along the arrows, children can write a certain form of letter and improve their writing skills.
